According to the authorized statement, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret sect.

The questline focuses on "peculiar tests and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a striking moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an exclusive katana alongside multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
